News flash: Unless you're an advertiser, ratings mean squat. Plus... LOL RATINGS. Fox News only creams everyone because they get included in the lowest-tier cable packages (aka "basic cable") and MSNBC is either put in higher-tier ("expanded basic") or outright left out. Nielsens also fail to account for online viewers (via flash player and podcast versions). The real power is in the twitter follower count.

This is kind of a reverse-avatar-ization, if such a word exists. Normally I convert my computers into humanoid characters, but this time I go in the opposite direction and change them into mecha.

See, Yggdrasil is a media server, and while he's as stationary as Blastoise, he's moreso in that he's meant to house my LAN's media files and such. So it makes more sense to turn him into a ship. (Would my LAN itself be a space station?)
